Questions and answers

Which format should I choose?

GPX works almost everywhere: Strava, Komoot, Garmin Connect, Wahoo and most apps. FIT and TCX are best for Garmin and Wahoo devices, KML for Google Earth and Google My Maps, GeoJSON for maps and code.

My device says the route has too many points.

Pick 2,000 or 500 under "Points". The shape of the route is kept: points are removed where the line is straight.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Reading and writing happen in your browser, so the files never leave your device. That also makes it fast, even for long rides.

Are elevation and time kept?

Yes. Elevation and timestamps are kept in every format that supports them: GPX, TCX, FIT and GeoJSON. KML keeps elevation.

Is it free?

Yes, completely, with no account and no limit on the number of files.
